This is a handmade product and small differences in shape and size are part of their charm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Care<br \/>\n<\/strong>You can put these pieces in the dishwasher, but bear in mind that this is an aggressive cleaning option, even for industrially made tableware. To keep your handmade pottery in tip-top condition we recommend washing by hand. Regular use in the microwave isn\u2019t recommended because the thermal shock may cause cracking in both the body and the glaze.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A versatile low bowl suitable for plating pasta, rice, stews, curries, vegetables, dips and gooey desserts. Thrown one by one in a grainy red stoneware clay and coated in my own raw white satin-matt glaze. I take the trouble to glaze the underside of these bowls, not just for aesthetic reasons, but to keep the base protected from greasy fingers and food spills.<\/p>\n<p>Variables in the glazing and firing process mean that the tone and finish of each plate can range. Some pieces are more matt, others have little more shine to them. The colour can vary between a soft white and a mottled beige. See all photos.
