Shipping
We ship from Spain with the national postal system. Orders will ship between two to five working days after payment has been processed.
All orders will be sent by sign-for, registered post that also includes a very basic tracking service.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a notification by email, together with a tracking number and a receipt for your purchase. If you haven’t received anything within a week of your order, please check your spam!
Pick up your order in person
If you’re in Barcelona and would like to save on shipping by coming to pick up your order from our base in Sant Antoni, choose “Barcelona pick-up” in the shipping options and we’ll get in touch with you to arrange a time.
Estimated delivery times
Shipping within Europe typically takes between 5-10 working days, but there are sometimes glitches in the delivery service and orders can take longer to arrive. In December, delivery times can vary wildly and we can’t guarantee that orders placed during this month will arrive on time for Christmas. Please take this into account when ordering.
Tax exemptions
You will not be charged tax at the checkout if your shipping address is outside the European Union, including the UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Andorra, and Norway.
Orders shipped outside the EU, including to the United States, may be subject to local taxes, import duties, or customs fees upon arrival. These charges are determined by local authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Please note that Mudthing is not responsible for any customs fees or delays caused by customs controls.
Lost orders
Please check the status of your order on the tracking page of the Spanish postal service here https://www.correos.es/es/en/individuals
If you think your order has been lost en route, please get in touch and I’ll double check with the Spanish authorities. Once we receive confirmation that your order has gone missing, we will issue a refund of the purchased item. Unfortunately shipping costs will not be refunded.
Mudthing is not responsible for any lost or missing orders where an incorrect or incomplete address was provided.
Returns & exchanges
We are happy to refund or exchange Mudthing aprons or tools sent back to us in their original condition, and within 30 days of purchase. Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling costs incurred – including Stripe fees – and, in the case of returned items, these charges are non-refundable. Stripe credit card handling fees will also not be returned if a client mistakenly places a duplicate order, or if a client would like to cancel an order before it is sent out.
We cannot accommodate returns of our ceramics, many thanks for your understanding.
