Japanese inspired cups, with a small elevated foot ring. Perfect for cradling hot drinks in your hand. Thrown one by one in a grainy red stoneware clay and coated in my raw white satin-matt glaze. The visible throwing lines add character to the piece and are also an intentional reference to the human hand that was present throughout the making process. Each mug holds around 175ml.

I custom formulate my own glazes and they are exclusive to my studio.

Size
6.5cm x 8.5cm  (w x h). This is a handmade product and small differences in shape and size are part of their charm.

Care
You can put these pieces in the dishwasher, but bear in mind that this is an aggressive cleaning option, even for industrially made tableware. To keep your handmade pottery in tip-top condition we recommend washing by hand. Regular use in the microwave isn’t recommended because the thermal shock may cause cracking in both the body and the glaze.
