Japanese inspired cups, with a small elevated foot ring, perfect for cradling hot drinks in your hand.
Thrown one by one in a grainy red stoneware clay and coated in my raw white satin-matt glaze, formulated and mixed exclusively in my studio. Visible throwing lines add character to the piece and are also an intentional reference to the human hand that was present throughout the making process.
Each mug holds around 175ml.

Care
My ceramics are dishwasher safe, although hand washing is the gentlest way to care for handmade pottery and keep it looking its best. We recommend avoiding regular use in the microwave, as repeated changes in temperature can cause cracking over time.
