Thrown one by one in grainy red stoneware and finished with my raw white satin-matt glaze, formulated and mixed exclusively in my studio. I’ve also glazed the underside, both for aesthetic reasons and to protect the base from greasy fingers and food spills.
Variations in the glazing and firing process mean that each plate can range between a soft white and a mottled beige. See all photos for examples. These subtle differences are part of what makes handmade ceramics unique.

Care
My ceramics are dishwasher safe, although hand washing is the gentlest way to care for handmade pottery and keep it looking its best. We recommend avoiding regular use in the microwave, as repeated changes in temperature can cause cracking over time.
